So, who am I?
I reside in Hayden, Idaho, and started Blue Otter Environmental Consulting in 2023. I have lived and worked in several Northwestern states, including Alaska. My career as a biologist for the USDA Forest Service, plus a short period with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, lasted more than two decades.
My broad experiences with interdisciplinary teams, timber harvest, road construction, wildfire, recreation, grazing, invasive species, and multiple land uses provide a useful perspective to clients that value fisheries and water quality. I also started in wildlife management and ended up gaining some insight into program management and leadership.
